Valency International Pet. Ltd.'s ESG&CSR team in Ivory Coast organized a one-day company tour aimed at providing students of the Joseph Garnier College in Attinguié with practical insights into cashew processing. This educational initiative, known as a student round, offers the following opportunities: Hands-on Learning: Experience firsthand the various stages of cashew processing, from raw nut processing to packaging, by observing the plant's operations under the guidance of industry professionals. Understanding Industry Practices: Gain knowledge about the equipment, machinery, and techniques used in cashew processing, as well as the quality control measures implemented to ensure product standards. Environmental and Social Awareness: Understand the environmental impact of cashew processing activities and learn about sustainable practices adopted by the plant to minimize waste generation, conserve resources, and promote social responsibility. Career Exploration: Explore potential career opportunities in the cashew processing industry by interacting with professionals working in various roles within the plant, gaining insights into job responsibilities, skill requirements, and career pathways. Mr. ARVIND TIWARI, Country Head of Valency International Trading, warmly welcomed guests and advised students on the significance of hard work for achieving their dreams. Later, a school delegation of 36 students and 3 supervisors was introduced to the Valency group. They watched videos showcasing the company's operations, from Singapore to Attinguié, highlighting the cashew nut processing stages and export process. The students and supervisors toured the factory construction site and peeling center, realizing the importance of dedicated workers for company success. Witnessing the peeling process and site progress left them amazed. After the visit, students discussed cashew processing, Valency's activities, and the factory construction with Mr. Abhishek Mishra Later, they enjoyed a lunch of bread, sweets, and water, settling in good spirits. At the conclusion of the visit, Dr. Uttam Sur, the Head of ESG & CSR at Valency Group, extended gratitude to the school staff and students. Mr. ADON, the Director of the school, expressed joy and appreciation to Valency's management, particularly the CSR division, for their hospitality and dedication.
