Job Purpose
• Lead and manage a team of production staff, supervisors, and other personnel.
• Manage and allocate resources such as manpower, equipment, and materials effectively for the factory.
• Ensure efficient and timely production processes to meet production targets and quality standards.
• Optimize production workflows and implement strategies to improve efficiency and reduce costs.
• Develop and manage budgets for manufacturing operations.
Duties and Responsibilities
• Oversee and manage day-to-day operations of the manufacturing facility.
• Monitor expenses and identify cost-saving opportunities.
• Address any issues or challenges that arise during production promptly and effectively.
• Ensure that the factory operations comply with environmental regulations and sustainability standards.
• Monitor and ensure that products meet or exceed quality specifications.
• Communicate effectively with other departments, senior management, and external stakeholders.
• Report, control and analyze performance metrics of the operations.
• Foster a culture of continuous improvement to drive efficiency and innovation.
Qualifications
• Education: MBA/ BE/B Tech
• Specialized knowledge: Supply chain, operations or production planning
• Skills : Six sigma, SAP, Advance Excel, Office 365
• Abilities: leadership, effective communication, emotional intelligence, shopfloor management, decision making, Problem solving
• Professional Certifications if any would be an added advantage
• Experience: 5+ Years handling operations, value chain, manufacturing and similar industry.
