Job purpose

Responsibilities 

  • F&A Basics – Accounting, Reporting, Budgeting/ MIS/ BRM (timeliness and accuracy), analysis, audit, risk management and control and efficient use of ERP
  • Financial Planning – Cash flow predictability, working/ fixed capital productivity through measurable metrics and benchmarking, building banking facilities
  • Business Partnering – Building seamless confluence of strategy and execution in close working relationship with operations, deep business insights through predictive outcomes, value maximizing through deal structuring/ financing acumen 
  • Future Ready Teams – Leading and developing next generation leaders through clear career planning, training, mentoring and helping both individuals and the organization in realizing potential. Champion “One Company mindset” to build cross functional, operations, and external partnerships.

Duties and responsibilities

Summarized Responsibilities (detailed descriptions included in KPI document):

  • Benchmark and execute a plan to bring the product’s F&A basics into top tier performance every month. Focus on quality and timeliness of outcomes from each of the F&A basics and align it to product/ organizational goals. 
  • Growth mindset demands rigorous financial planning by ensuring efficient cash flow planning and management, critically controlling cycle times, being both prudent and cautious in costs control, reviewing the operational and financial performances through proper metrics that again align to product/ organizational goals.
  • Together with the Product Head/ Senior Management; build/ review the product strategy and execute it through proper planning, product, countries, and market insights and capability building. Strong review mechanism and opportunities’ awareness mindset important.
  • Develop systems, processes, people and cohesively intertwine them through well planned implementations, rigor and depth of training and enhancing effectiveness of systems and people.

Requirements:

•    Preferably a Chartered Accountant (CA) with 5 – 7 years of experience . Good to have Agri/ product specific factory  experience.

•    Excellent communication, MS Excel skills, and broad experience from the four pillars in F&A are mandatory.

•    SAP HANA user expertise is fantastic advantage to have
